Sunny Sardinia

Since our British summer had been virtually non existant and we were desperate for sunnier climes we decided a beach holiday was called for. Sardinia, an island region of Italy, sits just south of the Island of Corsica in the blue Tyrrhenian Sea was our destination and although it's 160 miles long, 68 miles wide we planned to spend most of it on a patch of beach 20m long and 5m wide!
