Weekends : Northumberland

Since we were cancelling our planned Iceland trip in order to go back the the US in September we decided to head up to Northumberland in order to get to the Farne Islands were we could hopefully view some Puffins.

The trip up was relativly painless although we got to the harbour as the boat was about to leave for the island and they had to hold it for us for 5 mins while we paid. Needless to say our boarding happened under the impatient stares of all the gathered twitchers.

The Results
